CGC Details Canada's August Pea ExportsWINNIPEG - Oct 2/06 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 65,700 metric tons (MT) of field peas were exporters through licensed terminal facilities, which are required to report to it all grain movement. This is down sharply from the 219,300 MT shipped the same month last year and down from the 101,400 MT shipped in July. Of total peas shipped in August, 44,900 MT moved through terminal elevators in Vancouver; 15,600 MT through facilities in Thunder Bay; and 5,300 MT out of Sorel.
