Grower Drive CanaryseedVANCOUVER - Sep 29/06 - SNS -- Grower holding has become a major factor in North American birdseed ingredient markets, driving Canadian canaryseed significantly higher on the week. The change is most obvious on export markets where canaryseed has jumped around U.S. $40 per metric ton (MT) since the start of the week. The changing situation was reflected in Canadian grower markets where top bids escalated U.S. $25 MT on the week from $213 to $238 MT for farmers dressed product delivered western Canadian processing plants.
