MELBOURNE - Sep 15/02 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Monday. WARNING SUMMARY: A Severe Wind and Thunderstorm Advice is current for all districts east of a line Port Lincoln to Ernaballa today. A Gale Warning continues for all South Australian coasts. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Warm in the east this evening with squally, strong to gale force northerly winds. A cooler, squally west to southwest wind change over Eyre Peninsula at 4 pm will extend eastwards to reach eastern districts early Monday. Showers and thunderstorms becoming more widespread ahead of the wind change and turning to rain in central and eastern parts overnight. Cool to cold conditions with scattered showers, isolated thunder and small hail to follow over agricultural
