Weekly Canadian Crush Plunges
WINNIPEG - Sep 8/06 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 60,848 metric tons (MT) of canola and 25,689 of soybeans during the week ending August 30.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, show canola crush fell 7.7%, for a second week of decreased activity. Soybean crush sank 20.1%, after rising the previous week.
