Good Demand For Ag Commodities
CHICAGO - Sep 7/06 - SNS -- International agriculture commodity markets are seeing a good level of buying activity, which is adding to underlying demand in grains and oilseeds even as the weather conspires to boost potential yields in some areas.
Weather forecasters in the United States are looking for more rain in Kansas and the southern plains for Saturday and Sunday. That should help reduce moisture deficits as winter wheat seeding gets underway in those states.
On the other hand, the wet weather will slow corn and soybean harvest activity in the U.S. midwest while helping late maturing crops.
