Chickpea Size Spreads TightenWINNIPEG - Sep 1/06 - SNS -- International chickpea markets finished the week with spreads between small and large caliber product tightening. The change reflects surging demand from Pakistan and to a lesser degree from India for desi and small caliber kabuli chickpeas. As a result of change in emphasis, large caliber chickpea markets eased on the week, while small caliber strengthened. Light demand was also reported from Spain and Italy during the week.
