Current Weather Situation and Future Developments A low pressure trough will drift across Victoria on Saturday afternoon and night with a cold front to affect southern Victoria on Sunday. A high pressure system will move quickly across northern Victoria on Monday before an active cold front sweeps through the state on Tuesday. Victoria Tonight and Saturday: Isolated showers in the east clearing tonight. Patchy rain about the South Gippsland and west coasts tonight extending throughout tomorrow but mainly affecting southern and mountain districts. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the north and east. Light to moderate north to northwesterly wind shifting cooler, southwesterly from the southwest later.
