India's Spice Exports Stay Ahead of 2001-02DELHI - Sep 10/02 - STAT -- India's spice exports faltered during July, though season to date shipments remain well ahead of year earlier levels, according to the latest trade data compiled by the India Spices Board. Sales during July fell from 24,015 metric tons (MT) in June to just 18,015 MT. Even so, clearances remained well above year earlier levels of 16,265 MT posted during July of 2001.
