USDA Tenders for 15,770 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Aug 22/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 15,770 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment on October.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 096, the USDA expects to buy product packed in 50 kg bags on a delivered Gulf ports basis. Field peas dominate this tender, accounting for 80.4% of the invitation, total while lentils account for 15.4% and pinto beans 4.2%.
