CanGro Sells Primo Pasta
TORONTO - Aug 21/06 - SNS -- CanGro Foods Inc. sold its Primo brand for pasta and tomato products, including associated pasta assets, while retaining the Primo brand for soup.
The sale was completed to Sun-Brite Canning Limited. CanGro is an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc., a leading private investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts of market-leading companies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
