Little Change in lentilsVANCOUVER - Aug 18/06 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished the week unchanged to slightly firmer against moderate demand. Some Canadian exporters continue to offer old crop lentils at substantial discounts to new, but the number of companies involved appears to be quickly decreasing. Importers report discounts of U.S. $30 to $40 per metric ton (MT) for both 2005 crop No 2 and No 2 grade lentils.
