Weekly Export Inspections Total 58,824 BushelsWASHINGTON - Sep 9/02 - STAT -- Exports inspections of major grains and oilseeds at U.S. ports totalled 58,824 bushels during the week ending September 05, according to data compiled by the USDA. This lifted season today export clearances to 279,426 bushels so far during the current marketing campaign, down 16,501 bushels from the 295,927 shipped during the same period last season. Last week's volume leader was corn with 31,442 bushels shipped, followed by wheat with 17,783 bushels cleared. This lifted season to date shipments for corn to 21,454 bushels, compared to 26,952 last season; while wheat clearances now total 249,197 bushels, versus 250,711 last year.
