Weekly Canadian Crush Rises
WINNIPEG - Aug 18/06 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 63,498 metric tons (MT) of canola and 35,208 of soybeans during the week ending August 16.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, show canola crush jumped 13.2%, ending four weeks of decreased activity. Soybean crush rose 23.7%, after falling the previous week.
