USDA Tenders for 2,000 MT Beans
KANSAS CITY - Aug 14/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 2,000 metric tons (MT) of dry edible beans for prepositioning at Gulf ports for use in food aid programs.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 086C, the USDA expects to buy dark red kidney and/or black beans packed in 50 kg bags for shipment from inland plants between September 6 and 20 or from plants located at the port between September 21 and October 5.
Offers are due August 16 for reply the following day.
