Lentils Complete Transition to New Crop
VANCOUVER - Aug 11/06 - SNS -- North American lentil markets have completed the transition from old to new crop for both green end red lentils.
This has seen a significant upward revision in whole green markets values in Canada, while quotes from processors in the United States occupy a wide range.
Shippers in Montana and North Dakota continue to offer deep discounts to Canadian and U.S. Pacific Northwest origin lentils.
