Birdseeds Firm in Light Trade
VANCOUVER - Aug 11/06 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets remained firm in light trade during the past week.
The hot and dry weather which has afflicted much of the U.S. midwest and western Canada in recent weeks remains a concern to markets.
However, indications from western Canada are that canaryseed performed well, perhaps able to take advantage of ample starting moisture reserves to get through the past few weeks.
