Cotton Ginnings Open Slow
WASHINGTON - Aug 11/06 - SNS -- Cotton ginnings in the United States totaled 23,250 running bales prior to August 1, according to the USDA.
This compares to 68,700 running bales ginned prior to the same date last year and 48,350 running bales in 2004, reports the USDA.
