Higher Feed Pulse Usages Rates in UKLONDON - Aug 10/06 - SNS -- The quantity of pulses used in livestock feed rations during the first half of the calendar year is up significantly over last year, judging from the latest usage data available from DEFRA, the United Kingdom's agriculture department. The increase is accounted for by both field peas and beans, with field pea usage up 21% at 22,070 metric tons (MT); while feed bean usage by compound feed manufacturers is up 32% at 60,045 MT.
