Moderately Busy Start to WeekCHICAGO - Aug 7/06 - SNS -- Markets are off to a moderately busy start, amid expectations of further wheat business to India and news of Korean corn purchases over the weekend. The depth of trading interest to start the week is somewhat influenced by the fact Canadian traders are taking the day off for provincial civic holidays across the country. Many European traders are starting their summer holiday this week, influencing trading interest from that region. Attention in markets is turning toward Friday's updates to USDA supply and demand forecasts and this year's production estimates. The industry is looking for down yields to come in between 151 and 152 bushels per acre, with production ranging between 10,887 million bushels and 10,959 million bushels, up from 10,740 million in July. Traders are looking for the soybean estimate to be little changed from last month, while forecast wheat production is expected to decline in Friday's USDA reports.
