For tonight and Saturday WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning for NSW Coastal Waters north of Port Macquarie. STATE FORECAST Rain periods and isolated thunderstorms through the northeast of the state, contracting to the far northeast and clearing by Saturday afternoon. Isolated showers developing over the southeast inland later Saturday with some snow falls on the Alps. Mild to warm, fresh and gusty north to northwest winds in east, ahead of a cool to mild west to southwest change spreading through the northeast of the state overnight and during Saturday. Winds remaining fresh to strong and gusty over southeastern parts Saturday. This forecast is issued daily at 05.15, 1120 and 16.30.
