Small Red Bean Grower Price Review in CanadaVANCOUVER - Aug 3/06 - STAT -- Canadian Small Red Bean markets finished the 2005-06 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 15% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country. The average price paid for Small Red Bean was CDN$18.13 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $21.46 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants. Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $20.65 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $17.08 per cwt in June.
