Laird Lentil Dealer Price Review in CanadaVANCOUVER - Aug 3/06 - STAT -- Canadian Laird Lentil markets finished the 2005-06 marketing year with prices falling 13% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country. The average trading level for Laird Lentil was USD$16.75 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $19.28 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal. Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $18.63 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $15.25 per cwt in March.
