Modest Improvement in Edible Bean ConditionWASHINGTON - Aug 1/06 - SNS -- The condition of dry edible bean crops in the United States was improved somewhat during the past week, judging from the latest state level crop progress reports. Most of the crop is rated fair to good, with crops rated 60% or more good to excellent in Colorado, Michigan and Washington and Wyoming. Crops are rated 40% fair or worse in Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Dakota. There is no harvest activity reported in dry edible beans.
