Chickpeas Relatively Steady
VANCOUVER- Jul 28/06 - SNS -- Chickpea markets were relatively steady during the past week, reflecting the fact that they started the summer growing season at high levels, making it hard for the evolving weather situation to propel them higher.
This also reflects expectations that acreage has increased enough to more than offset any potential drop in yields.
