Specialty Crop Exports Tank in AugustVANCOUVER - Sep 4/02 - STAT -- The 2002-03 marketing year is getting off to an unusually slow start for Canadian specialty crop exporters, with little or no bulk cargo leaving Canada during the month. The latest shipment data from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association reveals no specialty crops moved through the Port of Thunder Bay during August; while only 2,200 metric tons (MT) of feed peas were loaded on the Shou Ning Hai during August.
