Limited Harvest Progress in SaskatchewanREGINA - Sep 3/02 - STAT -- Cool and damp weather conditions during the past week slowed this year's harvest in Saskatchewan, with the result limited progress was made combining swathed fields or cutting already ripe crops. This year's field pea harvest remains the most advanced, jumping 20 points to start the week at 48% complete. More importantly, warmer temperatures and little chance of showers are in the forecast for the remainder of the week. This will allow fields and crops to dry and should see a significant improvement in harvest progress by this time next week. The subscriber version of the article is available by Clicking here
