For Wednesday WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning current for NSW Coastal Waters north of Port Macquarie. STATE FORECAST Patchy light rain or showers central and northern inland, contracting to the northeast during today and persisting there during Thursday. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms over the northeast. Isolated showers about the far southern ranges and slopes should clear today. Warm to very warm in northeast with northerly winds, fresh and gusty at times today. Mild to warm in remainder, with moderate west to northwest winds freshening this afternoon and strong at times about the ranges, moderating on Thursday.
