USDA Buys for 180 MT Peas
KANSAS CITY - Jul 19/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 180 metric tons (MT) of green peas for shipment to Bolivia.
Under terms of Solicitation KCPG6-106, the USDA paid Commodity Solutions LLC and average U.S. $10 per 100 pounds (cwt) on a delivered Gulf ports basis for 180 MT of whole green peas packed in 50 kg bags for shipment from inland plants between August 21 to September 10 or from plants located at the port between September 6 and 20.
