French Pea Exports Trend Upward
VANCOUVER -Jul 17/06 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France continued their recent upward trend in May, managing their fifth month over month increase to total 49,595 metric tons (MT), compared to 43,870 MT the same month last year.
Despite the rising trend in export activity, shipments during the first 11 months of the 2005-06 marketing year fell far behind those reported the previous market year, largely on account of reduced sales to other European customers.
