Easier Undertone in Beans
VANCOUVER - Jul 14/06 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained a generally easier undertone in the face of increased new crop selling pressure from Argentina.
This is seeing trading levels for most classes of beans grown in the country ease. However, there remain major discrepancies between asking prices of grower-processors and pre trading companies, with the former group succeeding in obtaining higher asking prices.
In recent years, the number of pure trading companies in Argentina has fallen while the number of grower-exporters has risen.
