Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update
MELBOURNE - Sep 2/02 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For Tuesday WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning for NSW Coastal Waters south of Cape Byron. Fire Weather Warning and Total Fire Ban for Extreme fire danger for the Northwest Slopes and Plains, Northern Tablelands and Hunter for tomorrow. STATE FORECAST High to Very High Fire Danger in remainder of NSW. Cloud increasing from west with some patchy rain and isolated thunderstorms extending east. Very warm northerly winds fresh to strong and squally ahead of a milder moderate west to southwest change in the west extending to the northeast later in the day. Areas of blowing dust in west ahead of front. HEADLINE: Showers and patchy rain. Windy, warm in east. Outlook for Wednesday Patchy rain or isolated showers over NE NSW and about the southern ranges. Very Warm in NE, mild to warm remainder, with mainly W to NW winds and afternoon
