Little Change on World Chickpea MarketsVANCOUVER - Aug 30/02 - STAT -- Few changes were reported in international chickpea markets in a relatively quiet week. Markets on the Indian subcontinent finished the week on a relatively firm note. Good arrivals of imported merchandise were reported, including 21,000 metric tons (MT) of chickpeas and field peas from Canada on the Dorothea Oldendorff and 33,300 MT of chickpeas and green peas on the Pacific Princess.
