New U.S. Pulse Group
BISMARCK - Jul 10/06 - SNS -- Pulse crop growers in North Dakota and Montana have created a new association to represent their interests regionally and nationally in the United States.
The Northern Pulse Growers Association covers farmers who grow peas, edible beans, lentils, chickpeas, lupins and other pulse crops. It will have a 10-member board of directors. Seven seats represent specific districts within the two states, with the other three seats being at-large positions.
