India Tenders for 221,500 MT PulsesNEW DELHI - Jul 10/06 - SNS -- The Indian government has issued three separate tenders to will tender July 17 to buy up to 221,500 metric tons (MT) of five kinds of pulses. Most of the pulses covered by the tenders are classes of dry edible beans which would likely be supplied by Myanmar. The tenders include requests for offers of 13,500 MT of chickpeas and 25,000 MT of whole yellow peas, which could come from North American or European suppliers.
