Current Weather Situation and Future Developments
A low pressure trough will clear from eastern Victoria tonight. A high pressure
system will then move from the Bight to pass just south of Victoria late on
Monday to the south Tasman Sea on Tuesday. Another cold front will approach
Victoria on Wednesday before crossing the State Wednesday night into Thursday.

Tonight and Monday:    Scattered showers in southern and eastern districts
contracting to the south overnight then clearing from the west tomorrow. Light
snow possible in alpine areas tonight. Fine in the north apart from morning
frost and fog patches. A cool to cold and partly cloudy day with light to
moderate southerly winds.

Tuesday:      Morning frost and fog patches then generally fine and cool.
Isolated showers in the far southwest later.
Wednesday:    Isolated showers in the southwest extending further east later.

Thursday:     Showers, mainly in southern and mountain districts with snow
