Australia -- Victoria Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - Jul 1/06 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. Warning Summary Nil. Current Weather Situation and Future Developments A cold front over eastern Victoria will clear the State today. A high pressure system will then move from the Bight to pass just south of Victoria late on Monday to the south Tasman Sea on Tuesday. Another cold front will approach Victoria on Wednesday and is likely to reach the west of the State at night. Victoria Sunday: Patchy rain in the northeast gradually clearing. Scattered showers elsewhere, but becoming confined to southern and mountain districts late in the day. Snow showers above 1500 metres. A cool to cold and mostly cloudy day with moderate to fresh southerly winds gradually extending throughout. UV Index: 1-2 [low] Monday: Isolated showers in the south, mainly near the coast, contracting to the east. Fine in the north. Early inland frost and fog patches then a cool to cold day. Tuesday: Morning frost and fog patches then generally fine and cool. Isolated showers in the far southwest later.
