Lentil Stocks Rising in U.S.VANCOUVER - Jun 30/06 - SNS -- North American lentil managed a mixed finish on the week under quiet trading conditions. Markets were hoping for an independent assessment of lentil plantings in the United States in the USDA seeded area estimates, but will have to wait for the July 12 crop report. Markets were somewhat disappointed with the June 1 stocks in all positions report from the USDA, which found lentil stocks had risen 37% to 82,101 metric tons (MT).
