Proso Millet Seedings RisingWASHINGTON - Jun 30/06 - SNS -- Planted acreage for the 2006 proso millet crop is estimated at 575,000 acres, 2% above last year's total of 565,000 acres, according to the USDA's seeded area estimates for 2006. Of the three States in the estimating program, acreage is up from last year in Nebraska while acreage in Colorado and South Dakota is unchanged from a year ago.
