Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 12,320 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jun 21/06 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 177,920 MT, compared to 178,970 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 16,400 MT at 22,160 MT versus 38,560 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is up 3,970 MT from last year's 75,370 MT.
