USDA Tenders For 12,500 MT PulsesKANSAS CITY - Jun 21/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 12,500 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid. Under terms of USDA PL-480 tender invitation 076, the USDA expects to buy the pulses for shipment from inland plants between August 6 and August 27 or from plants located at port between August 27 and September 20. As in recent tenders the focus is on field peas and lentils, with whole and split green and yellow peas accounting for almost 70% of the invitation total, lentils 29% and dry edible beans around 1%.
