Cargill to Manage Terminal 22
WINNIPEG - Jun 20/06 - SNS -- Cargill Limited will take over full managerial responsibility for Terminal 22 in Balcarres, Saskatchewan.
Cargill and the Board of Terminal 22 finalized a Letter of Intent in mid-April to manage the daily operations of the Terminal. The changeover of management to Cargill has recently been completed at the Terminal.
Cargill will continue to own 50% of the facility with the remaining 50% still held by Terminal 22 Ltd., which is mostly farmer and local business owned. Cargill will be managing Terminal 22 under the new Operating and Management Agreement.
Company officials confirmed that Terminal 22 has been integrated into Cargill AgHorizions' Qu'Appelle Farm Service Group (FSG).
