Myanmar Pulse Export Continue StrongVANCOUVER - Jun 11/06 - SNS -- Pulse exports from Myanmar remained above year earlier levels in April, but were down sharply from clearances posted in March, according to the latest trade data assembled by the U.S. agricultural attache for the country. Myanmar exported 98,757 metric tons (MT) of beans and pulses in April 2006, up 76% over the same period in 2005, with most of the increase going to sales to India and China. Matpe accounted for 44% of the total exports, followed by Mung beans (30%) and Toor Whole (10%).
