U.S. Egg Use Down in AprilWASHINGTON - Jun 7/06 - SNS -- Shell egg use by food manufacturers slipped in April, dropping 3% below year earlier levels and 5% on the month to 162 million dozen, according to the USDA. During calendar year 2006 through April, shell eggs broken totaled 657 million dozen, down 1% from the comparable period in 2005.
