Canada's Weekly Exports Total 573,600 MTWINNIPEG - Jun 2/06 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 21,661,500 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 4,440,200 MT from the 17,221,300 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending May 28. Grower deliveries during the week included 267,500 MT of wheat; 82,500 MT of durum; 15,600 MT of oats; 28,000 MT of barley; 6,900 MT of flax; 143,000 MT of canola; 24,400 MT of peas; and 1,000 MT of corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 573,600 MT. On the grain side this included including 312,700 MT of wheat; 8,000 MT of durum; 11,400 MT of oats; 1,700 MT of barley; and 67,900 MT of corn.
