Chickpea Markets Generally Firmer
VANCOUVER - Aug 23/02 - STAT -- North American chickpea markets finished the week under generally firmer conditions, with the confirmation of lower production levels in both Canada and the United States.
Seeded area in the United States ended up lower than initially expected at 79,500 acres for a potential harvest of 45,354 metric tons (MT).
