Current Weather Situation and Future Developments
A low pressure system deepening off the southern New South Wales coast will be
slow moving on Friday before moving eastwards over the Tasman Sea on Saturday. A
high pressure system will develop south of the Bight during the weekend before
drifting to the south of Victoria on Monday.
Victoria
Friday:       Rain in the east with heavy falls in East Gippsland. Scattered
showers developing in remaining southern and mountain areas but only isolated
showers over the northern plains. Snow developing on the higher peaks. Cool to
cold with a light to moderate south to southeasterly wind freshening in the
south and east.

Saturday:     Scattered showers in southern and mountain districts, tending to
rain at first in the far east. Cool to cold.
Sunday:       Isolated showers in southern and mountain districts, scattered in
the far east.  Cool to cold. Early frosts in the north.
