Pending permit approvals, construction is expected to begin this summer and will be completed by the first quarter of 2008. The new facility will be built adjacent to the existing processing building and, when completed, will increase Cargill's processing capacity from 95,000 bushels per day to 165,000 bushels per day. Wayne Teddy, president of Cargill's Grain and Oilseeds Supply Chain-North America business unit, indicated that the new facility would significantly enhance operating efficiencies.
