USDA Plans Fruit Puree Buy
WASHINGTON - May 31/06 - SNS -- The USDA plans to buy up to 1.5 million pounds of frozen red raspberry puree to be donated to child nutrition and other domestic food assistance programs.
In the past five years, USDA has purchased an average of more than 750,000 pounds of frozen raspberry products each year.
