USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 880 MT
KANSAS CITY - May 24/06 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 31,240 MT, compared to 36,810 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases up 3,130 MT from last year's 25,930 MT level.
