USDA Tenders for 9,260 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - May 24/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 9,660 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment in July.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender Solicitation 066, the USDA is continuing to emphasize field peas, with whole yellow peas accounting for 79.9% of the invitation total, compared to 13.7% for whole and split green peas; 4.6% for dry edible beans; and just 1.7% for lentils.
